Garden Cocktails: Wild Artemisia

And it’s a special one, based on the artemisia summer foliage and blossoms. Artemisia also grows wild in the Lagoon, called Laguna superiore, which is the name given to the islands northeast of Burano and north of Treporti, in a little bay formed by the Lagoon bordering on Iesolo and Lio Mazor.

Artemisia grows on in salt marshlands, amongst limonium and minutina. In eary summer, the marshlands look slightly silver because of their blossoms!
